Spa Policies

Upon Arrival

To maximize your experience, please check in 15-20 minutes prior to your first scheduled service. We encourage you to allow extra time to relax and let yourself enter a peaceful and tranquil state of mind; this will also give you the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing spa beverage while preparing for your treatment.

What Do I Bring?

If you are scheduled for one of our hydrotherapy tub treatments, we ask that you please bring a bathing suit with you on the day of your appointment. Although, if you happen to forget to bring one or decide to add-on hydrotherapy treatment while you are here at the spa, we will be happy to provide you with a disposable undergarment  for your personal use.

Preparing For Your Treatment

For your safety, please remove contact lenses prior to facial services.

To avoid irritation, shaving or waxing is not recommended prior to body scrubs, body wraps or mineral bath treatments.

We ask that our male spa clients shave their face at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled facial.

Treatment Times

All Treatment times include a 5 min consult and undress period as well as a 5 minute dress time at the end of your service. If you have any question as to the hands on time of any treatment please contact our spa coordinators.

Spa Etiquette

For the comfort of all guests, please turn off cellular phones, laptops and pagers prior to entering the wellness spa.  Smoking is prohibited in the spa and alcohol is not recommended before or after treatments.  We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone appearing to be under the influence of alcohol.  Your therapist may terminate the service, without refund, if inappropriate language or actions occur.

For safety reasons, the maximum occupancy of each spa room is one client, with the exception of the couple’s suite, is two clients. Anyone accompanying you to your spa services is welcome to wait in the relaxation room. Children under 12 may not be left unattended; you will need to reschedule your appointment should your children come with you  to the facility.

It is never required that you are unclothed in front of anyone at our wellness spa.  Our staff is professionally trained in proper draping to ensure your modesty is never compromised.  Our therapists will only expose the areas being worked on.  Underwear may be kept on, or swimsuits may be worn if that is your comfort level.

Gift Cards / Gift Certificates

Mind, Body & Soul gift cards are as beautiful to give as they are to receive.  Gift cards/Gift Certificates are available in any dollar amount.  Gift cards/Certificates are valid for services or products only and may be purchased at the facility, by phone, or online. Regardless of payment method, at the time of check out, a debit or credit card MUST be used to secure your spa treatment(s). See “Late Arrivals and Cancellations” for additional information. Because some of our gift cards have limitations, please indicate at the beginning of  the scheduling for treatment so that our spa coordinator can verify that your card qualifies for your desired treatment. Please see the reverse side of the gift card for additional terms and conditions.

No Children, Please

For the enjoyment and safety of all visitors, Mind, Body & Soul guests must be at least 15 years of age.  Guests under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent.  Our wellness spa is not appropriate for children under 12 – Children must be receiving services and accompanied by a parent if present.

Late Arrivals and Cancellations

We require a credit card number to hold all appointments. In the event that you need to cancel your scheduled appointment with us, we do require at least 24 hour notice for single treatments and 48 hour notice for multiple treatments. In the case of a same day cancellation or if you fail to show up at your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged the full fee of your service or services. This is as a courtesy to the staff member, and so that we may possibly accommodate the needs of other clients. However, we understand that emergency situations do arise and we will accommodate you in any way we can.

If you arrive late, the length of your treatment will be reduced to end as scheduled, allowing our therapist to take their next scheduled appointment on time.  If you must cancel, please call 24 hours in advance for single treatments and 48 hours for two or more scheduled treatments to avoid the cancellation fee.

May I Bring the Spa Home?

Because we are sure that you will enjoy your experience with us, we have provided you with the opportunity to purchase many of the products used in our treatments, as well as other spa gifts.

What Should I Communicate?

Please advise our staff if you have allergies, are pregnant, recovering from recent surgery, taking any medical treatments or have any existing medical concerns.  We will gladly discuss your goals, preferences and answer questions.

Give your therapist feedback as to your comfort and special trouble areas. We are here to make this the most relaxing and beneficial treatment for you, so tell us what your needs are. If you would rather enjoy the treatment in silence, that is your choice as well.
